Anyrah Shavéh is an award-winning poet and performer whose work explores the interior lives of women, Black lineage, and cultural memory through radical truth-telling. Her poetry has been featured in Still I Rise: Voices of Women from Around the World (The Hemlock Journal / Quillkeepers Press), and she's an MFA candidate in Poetry at Rutgers University-Newark.
